Plan and billing
How Qpushly is billed, where to change or cancel your plan, and what happens on downgrade or uninstall.
Billed by Shopify
Qpushly uses Shopify Managed Pricing. Every part of the money side is handled by Shopify:
- The plan list and prices are hosted by Shopify.
- Approving a plan happens in your Shopify admin.
- The charge appears on your normal Shopify invoice, with your other apps.
- Upgrading, downgrading and cancelling are all done on Shopify’s plan page.
Qpushly never sees or stores a card, and you never need to contact support to change a plan.
Where to find it
Two routes, both landing on Shopify’s own page:
- Dashboard → the plan banner, if you are on the free plan.
- Settings → Plan & billing → View plans & upgrade / Manage plan.
Changing or cancelling
On Shopify’s plan page: pick a different plan, or cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access until then.
Uninstalling the app also stops future charges.
What each plan includes
| Free | Paid | |
|---|---|---|
| One-tap opt-in, unlimited subscribers | ✓ | ✓ |
| Broadcast campaigns + scheduling | ✓ | ✓ |
| Revenue attribution per send | ✓ | ✓ |
| Welcome notifications | ✓ | ✓ |
| Abandoned cart, browse abandonment, back-in-stock, price drop | — | ✓ |
| Reminders per automation | 1 | 3 |
| CSV export | ✓ | ✓ |
| CSV import from another provider | — | ✓ |
What happens when you downgrade
Nothing is deleted and nothing stops sending. Your subscriber list, campaigns and automation copy stay exactly as they are, and any automation you already set up keeps running.
What changes is what you can add: on the free plan you cannot create a new gated automation or add a second reminder. You can still edit the ones you have.
What happens when you uninstall
- Your store’s access credentials are removed immediately.
- Shopify stops the recurring charge.
- Shopify then sends a shop-redaction request, and every record for your store is deleted — subscribers, campaigns, automations, logs, settings.
Trials
A paid plan carries Shopify’s standard trial before the first charge; the exact length is shown on Shopify’s plan page when you subscribe.
The free plan is not a trial. It does not expire and it does not turn into a paid plan on its own.
Billing questions we cannot answer
Because Shopify is the merchant of record for app subscriptions, anything about invoices, tax, refunds or payment methods goes to Shopify support, not to us. We can help with what a plan includes; Shopify handles what you were charged.
