Install Qpushly
Install from the Shopify App Store, and what the permissions it asks for are actually used for.
Install
- Open the Qpushly listing on the Shopify App Store.
- Click Add app, then choose the store you want to install it on.
- Review the permissions (see below) and click Install.
- Shopify drops you into Qpushly’s Dashboard.
That is it — no API keys, no scripts to paste, no account to create. Qpushly appears in your Shopify admin sidebar under Apps.
What the permissions are for
Shopify shows you a list of what the app can access. Qpushly asks for four things, and only four:

| View products | To receive Shopify’s product-update notifications, which is what triggers back-in-stock and price-drop alerts. Without it those two automations can never fire. |
| View orders | To match an order back to the notification that was clicked, so campaigns and automations can show orders and revenue. |
| View and manage files | To store the images you upload for campaigns and your notification logo in your own Shopify Files. |
The next step is not optional
Installing the app gives you the admin screens. It does not put anything on your storefront yet, which means no visitor can subscribe and every screen in the app will be empty.
If the install fails
“This app can’t be installed” — your store may be on a plan that blocks custom or embedded apps, or a store owner permission is missing. Ask whoever owns the store to install it, or to grant you the Manage and install apps permission under Settings → Users.
You installed it but cannot find it — Shopify admin → Apps → Qpushly. Pin it there and it will stay in your sidebar.
A blank screen after install — reload the page once. If it persists, open the
app in a normal browser window rather than a private/incognito one; embedded apps
need cookies from admin.shopify.com.
